- Break down complex software features into smaller components
- Identify potential areas where things might go wrong
- Attention to Detail:
- Ability to identify minor inconsistencies
- Ability to decipher small differences within a business requirements document to create test cases for all variables
- Ability to check your work and the work of your peers for quality and consistency
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
- Ability to understand the development life cycle o Ability to follow a designated plan and adhere to deadlines to ensure all deliverables are completed on time
- Testing Methodologies: o Ability to follow the prescribed testing methodologies
- Microsoft 365:
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of applications- required
- Knowledge of SharePoint- (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Visio and process mapping- (nice to have)
- Test Management Tools: (nice to have)
- Knowledge of test management tools help manage and track test cases, defects, and overall testing progress.
