Job Description: QA Tester

Role:QA Tester
Key Responsibilities:Test Planning and Design:Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.Automation Testing:Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Appium and Selenium. Ensure efficient test automation coverage for regression and functional testing.Manual Testing:Perform thorough manual testing where automation is not feasible. Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.Test Execution:Execute test cases and document results. Ensure the quality and integrity of the software by identifying, isolating, and documenting bugs clearly and concisely.Continuous Integration:Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.Collaboration:Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on the quality of the product.Reporting:Generate detailed test reports and communicate test progress, results, and any issues to the development team and management.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience:4 to 6 years of professional experience in QA testing.Technologies:Test Automation: Appium, SeleniumProgramming: Proficiency in Java for test script developmentTesting Practices:Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Analytical Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to identify and document clear and concise bug reports.Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Team Player:Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Preferred Skills:Mobile Testing:Experience with mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms.Performance Testing:Knowledge of performance and load testing tools and practices.Agile Methodologies:Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development processes.Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
