Job Title: QA Tester
Location: Chennai, Pune ONLY
Shift Timing: 2 PM - 11 PM IST
Salary:18lpa to 22lpa
Duration of Project: 6 months
Experience: 8+years
Roles and Responsibilities:- Testing and Validation: Execute functional testing and validate web services (SOAP and REST-based) to ensure product quality.
- Database Queries: Write and validate SQL queries, specifically for MS SQL Server, to ensure proper data retrieval and validation.
- Service Validation: Validate APIs and services as part of overall testing efforts to ensure they meet requirements and function correctly.
- Logs Analysis: Work with AWS logs to investigate and troubleshoot issues related to testing.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile processes, working closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Business Knowledge: Leverage your knowledge of the Telecom domain to understand business processes and contribute to high-quality testing.
- Team Collaboration: Work in a collaborative team environment, ensuring clear communication across teams to address issues and ensure project success.
- Test Management Tools: Use ALM or any other Test Management Tool for tracking and managing test cases, defects, and test cycles.
Mandatory Skills:- Functional Testing: Hands-on experience in functional testing of web applications and services.
- REST API & Webservice Testing: Strong experience testing REST APIs and SOAP-based web services.
- Basic SQL Querying: Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database validation, preferably in MS SQL Server.
- AWS Logs: Experience in working with AWS logs for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Test Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like ALM or other test management tools.
Desirable Skills:- Telecom Domain knowledge would be a plus.
- Experience in Agile Projects: Prior exposure to Agile methodologies is required.
