Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and automated tests. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements
Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and backend systems
Design and implement automated tests to validate functionality and performance
Identify and document defects with clear steps to reproduce
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
Provide timely and accurate QA status and progress reports
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit)
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
ISTQB or other relevant certifications
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
Experience testing APIs (RESTful, SOAP)
