Position:QA/QC Engineer(Mechanical)

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 10-17 years(3-4 years in Cement)

Education: Mechanical

Skills: Inspection, NDT

1)Responsible for all types of inspection (both structural and equipment) like inspection in stages, final inspection, routine/acceptance tests wherever applicable as per approved Quality Plans (QPs).

2) Verification of Calibration status of test equipment to be used by the manufacturers for testing of equipment.

3) Inspection of fabrication structures at all stages within Kalamboli site and respected allocated fabrication sites.Inspection of copper blasting and painting at all stages.

4) Check during stages of manufacturing / assembly etc. at manufacturer's / sub-vendors premises, wherever applicable.Checking Dimensional accuracy, alignments, run out, clearances, finish, painting, anti-rust treatment, galvanizing, checking of soundness of materials and Welding by NDT methods like RT, UT, PT, MT, VT etc. and witnessing of Performance Test, Routine Test, Type Test, proof of design test , Life cycle test and other mechanical tests as per approved Quality Plans.

5) Ensuring no alternations, amendments, omissions, additions, suspensions or variations of work under the Contract as shown by the approved drawings or specification shall be made by supplier or their sub-vendors.

6) All quality inspection documents and protocols documentation.

7) Documentation of all readings of equipment's in commissioning period (like vibrations, temperature, alignment, etc)
