Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance and new product development
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and methodologies
- Experience with production part approval process (PPAP)
- Excellent documentation skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the quality assurance and new product development processes
- Develop and implement QA and NPD policies and procedures
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of QA and NPD projects
- Conduct regular quality inspections and provide feedback on product and process improvements
- Monitor product development timelines and ensure timely completion of milestones
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances
- Create and maintain accurate documentation related to QA and NPD activities
- Train and mentor junior QA and NPD team members
