Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
- Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidate should have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or quality analysis.
- Strong expertise in various testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, QTP, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Perl.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
