About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester with at least 5 years of experience in software testing. As a remote team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. You will collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specification
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify defects and ensure software quality
- Document, track, and report software defects using bug tracking tools and collaborate with developers to resolve issue
- s.Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and improve overall software quality.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure it is up-to-date with the latest test cases and scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and company guidelines in testing activities.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improving the QA process and suggest enhancement
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with web, mobile, and desktop application testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases for test validation.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
