Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting & Testing: Provide deep technical expertise in troubleshooting and testing within the EMS (Element Management System) and NMS (Network Management System) domains.
- Telecom Domain Expertise: Understand and work with various telecom technologies and services.
- Network Management: Work with network management concepts such as Inventory Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, Configuration Management, and Service Management.
- Network Simulation: Develop and run simulations for network management systems.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Plan and execute QA processes, including integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Collaborate with the development teams to ensure quality in the product development life cycle.
- Test Execution: Ensure thorough testing of the telecom software product for optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate test documentation for tracking bugs, issues, and testing progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience in troubleshooting and testing within the EMS/NMS/Telecom domain.
- Strong understanding of telecom technologies and network management concepts.
- Experience with Network Management Systems including Fault, Configuration, and Performance Management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with network simulation.
- Solid experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in testing and quality assurance.
- Proven ability to plan and execute QA, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Experience in creating detailed test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency with issue trackers and project management tools such as Jira or similar.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
