QA Lead Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the QA team to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases based on project requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work with development team to resolve them
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for software quality and testing
• Provide regular reports on testing progress, defects, and issues to stakeholders and management
• Mentor and train junior QA team members to improve their skills and capabilities

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in QA testing and leadership role
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Selenium, Java, Python)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team towards common goals
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
