Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled Lead QA to design testing procedures for our software applications
  • In this role, you will be responsible for analysing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance
  • To ensure success as a Lead QA, you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent project management skills
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the QA team s efforts in API, load, and stress testing.
  • Develop and implement QA strategies and plans, aligning them with overall project goals.
  • Mentor and guide QA Engineers in best practices and testing methodologies.
  • Work closely with the Technology Lead and Solution Architect to ensure thorough and efficient testing.
  • Prioritize and allocate testing tasks among team members.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide input on release readiness.
  • Establish key performance metrics and track the QA teams performance.
  • Lead the team in Agile ceremonies, ensuring a focus on quality at all stages of the development cycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related issues and queries within the team
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in API testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services such as CloudWatch, Lambda, SQS, and Data Streams.
  • Proven experience in load and stress testing.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
