The Role:
QA Lead
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
QA Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and plans.
Ensure alignment of QA activities with project goals and deadlines.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes.
Ensure proper execution of all test phases (unit, integration, system, regression, acceptance).
Identify, document, and track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Process Improvement:
Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies, and implement improvements where applicable.
Drive initiatives to enhance test automation and efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with development, product management, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between QA and other teams.
Provide regular reports on QA activities, progress, and issues to senior management.
Training and Development:
Develop training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the QA team..
Promote a learning environment by encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous education.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in both manual and automated testing.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualification:Bachelor's degree .
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Doctor of Psychology (Psy. D./D. Psych.), Master of Health Science (MHSc), Bachelor in General Studies (BGS), Doctor of Ministry
