We are looking for a meticulous
QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. As a critical part of the development process, you'll rigorously test our web and mobile applications to identify and resolve issues before they reach users. Working closely with developers, designers, and product managers, you'll help deliver exceptional user experiences while continuously improving our QA processes. Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Design and implement detailed test plans and cases for both web and mobile applications.
- Manual & Automated Testing: Perform functional, regression, and performance testing, with a strong emphasis on automating repetitive tasks.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track issues using tools like JIRA, Trello, or equivalent platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Quality Metrics: Define and track quality metrics to evaluate product performance and user satisfaction.
- Innovation: Bring creative and unconventional approaches to testing, helping uncover edge cases and improve workflows.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with QA trends and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years in software quality assurance, with a mix of manual and automated testing experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Soft Skills:
- A creative and unconventional thinker with a knack for uncovering unique edge cases.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- A curious, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for solving problems.
Bonus Points
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint planning.
