QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

Job Summary: We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual software testing. Knowledge of automation testing will be an added advantage. The candidate should have an analytical mindset, good communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively within the team.

Responsibilities:

- Create and execute test cases and test plans

- Identify, report, and track defects to closure

- Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects

- Work with the development team to ensure that software is designed with testing in mind

- Communicate test results and status to stakeholders

- Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews

- Continuously improve the test process

Skills and Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience in manual testing

- Knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies

- Knowledge of testing techniques such as functional, regression, and integration testing

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Automation testing experience is a plus

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
