QA Engineer

Champion User-Centric Product Quality

o Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans encompassing functional, usability, and exploratory testing to identify and eliminate issues impacting the user experience.

o Build and leverage your understanding of user personas and customer journeys to ensure all use cases and workflows are thoroughly tested.

o Partner with product team to glean insights into user behaviour and identify areas for improvement.

Own the Testing Process

o Develop and implement a robust testing strategy aligned with project goals and deadlines.

o Define and document clear testing processes for seamless integration into the SDLC.

o Champion best practices and continuously refine the QA methodology based on project metrics and feedback.

Embrace Automation

o Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools for web and mobile interfaces

o Identify opportunities to expand test automation coverage and optimize efficiency

o Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality monitoring

Become an Integration Expert

o Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of external 3rd party APIs, tracking tools and marketing automation platforms.

o Understand how marketing attribution and user tracking functionalities work to effectively test these integrations.

• What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of manual and automation testing methodologies.

Proven ability to design and execute effective test cases across web, mobile, and API layers (using tools like Postman).

• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or Katalon Studio on web and mobile interfaces (a must).

Excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for quality.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.

A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
