- Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and a passion for improving the quality of software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on testing outcomes.- Ensure that the final product meets the functional and design specifications.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide a quality perspective.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
