We are a growing team of 45 people, working primarily remote, being headquartered in Australia, consisting of teams working across APAC and Europe. About The Role. As a QA Engineer at iion, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our game advertising platforms. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated tests for our distributed web applications.
This includes writing comprehensive test cases, conducting performance testing, and collaborating closely with our development teams to deliver high-quality features to our clients. Role Responsibilities:. Execute reliable and performant manual and automation testing for distributed web applications. Research the latest tools and technologies to optimize the test automation process.
Write high-coverage test cases for REST & GraphQL APIs developed with BDD methodology. Conduct accurate performance testing for REST & GraphQL APIs. Actively collaborate with Frontend/FullStack Engineers and manually test their new/existing features. Set up end-to-end browser automation tests for agile web products.
Set up a robust test pipeline to release new features to production. Proactively identify bugs/issues and potential process improvement areas and recommend corrective actions. Occasionally carry out product management tasks while collaborating with the Head of Product. Role Requirements:.
3+ years of experience with manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. 2+ years of experience with web automation frameworks (Appium / Selenium / Cypress / PlayWright / Puppeteer). Good hands-on experience with any modern backend language and its ecosystem (NodeJS/Python/Go). Good hands-on experience building automation test cases for web applications.
Good hands-on experience with any cloud platform and its services (AWS/Azure/GCP). Experience with Charles Web Proxy is a plus. Our Ideal Candidate. You adapt and respond.
