As Nuvolo s QA Engineer II, you will be responsible for executing scripts within specified test environments with a high degree of accuracy on both Mobile (iOS and Android devices) and Web platforms.
As a QA Engineer II your role will include:
- Understand functional testing, smoke testing, performance, load testing, security testing, API testing and end-to-end testing.
- Throughout the different releases and products using critical thinking and analysis.
- Ability to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Working closely with the Product POD team, including engineering, PM.
- Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cycles and test cases.
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
- Relies upon more experienced engineers for guidance.
- Works in hand with the QA engineer I to guide them through the testing.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements
- Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems
- Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
- Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
- Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
- Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cycles and test cases.
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
- Work closely with development team and project management.
- Works in hand with the Jr. QA engineers to guide them through the testing.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements
- Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems

- 3-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance practice
