Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the development team to understand all ongoing developments in the portal and then work on to design test cases, and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies. Then post development for each project, as per your earlier designed test cases and plans, execute various types of tests, including functional, regression, integration, system,performance and API tests, to identify defects, inconsistencies, and errors in software applications.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by identifying areas for improvement, suggesting innovative solutions, and implementing best practices.
Requirements
Requirements:
Education: B.Tech, BCA/MCA, MSc.IT or a related field, (or equivalent work experience).
Experience: At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role for web applications, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
Technical Skills: A good knowledge of at least one programming language (Java/PHP/Python etc). Familiar with full-stack development cycles.
Tools - Experience with Postman or other tools for API testing.
Good to have- test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium for functional testing and J meter for Load testing.
