A Quality Assurance Specialist is a professional who is responsible for monitoring, inspecting and proposing measures to correct or improve an organizations final products to meet established quality standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Candidate should have very good knowledge on SQL, Unix for system & performance testing of the data platform and applications.
- Solve problems and establish plans and provide technical consultation in the design, development and test effort of complex engineering projects.
- Review product specifications and write test cases, develop test plans for assigned areas.
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues within the big data ecosystem
- Should have experience in working Agile Methodology.
- Candidate should have experience in AWS cloud services.
QUALIFICATION
- Requires minimum of 3 years QA experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience in Jira
- Experience in agile development processes.
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Scala.
- Good Knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive and Impala
- Knowledge of database management systems, both relational and non-relational
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years quality analyst experience
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of health care and financial systems
