Role Summary: As an experienced QA Automation Engineer, you will:
- Write test plans and design test cases
- Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
- Implement best practices, including a variety of different testing protocols, tools, and metrics
- Work closely with the development teams to assure test coverage
- Participate in Agile standup planning sessions.
- Build tools and frameworks for automated testing
- Work with remote teams to enable delivery of test artifacts
- Execute functional, regression tests, performance, and stress testing
- Bug reporting and verification.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and tools
- Must understand the agile development methodology
- 5+ years experience in a test or development role as part of a product development organization which has delivered customer-oriented products.
- Hands on experience in GUI automation (such as Selenium Web-driver) and API automation (such as SOAP/REST) using Postman
- Experience with Performance and Stress Testing Processes / Software, such as JMeter
- Experience with testing devices and automation frameworks like Appium
- Experience with CloudSQL and MongoD
Bonus Qualifications:
- Familiarity with at least one programing language such as Java, JavaScript, JSON, Python
- Agile/Sprint related tools such as JIRA, Confluence
- Performance testing experience using LoadRunner or Jmeter or other tools
