We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Manager with deep expertise in Salesforce CRM and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality standards across our sales and marketing technology stack, with a focus on Salesforce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading QA teams, managing end-to-end QA processes, and delivering high-quality software releases within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The essence of the role
As our new ROLE you will:
1. Quality Assurance Leadership:
- Lead the QA strategy, planning, and execution for Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and associated sales and marketing tools.
- Oversee the creation, implementation, and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and enforce QA best practices, processes, and methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing activities.
- Mentor and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure a high-performing team.
2. Salesforce CRM & CPQ Testing:
- Manage and execute end-to-end testing for Salesforce CRM and CPQ implementations, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with Salesforce development teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of defects and issues.
- Ensure thorough testing of CPQ configurations, pricing rules, product bundles, and approval workflows.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and tools specific to Salesforce and CPQ, driving efficiency and reducing manual testing efforts.
3. Release Management:
- Coordinate and manage QA activities across multiple releases, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of high-quality releases across the sales and marketing technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and DevOps, to ensure alignment on release schedules, scope, and quality expectations.
- Define and monitor release criteria, making data-driven decisions on go/no-go releases based on test results and risk assessments.
- .Facilitate release readiness reviews, post-release assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with stakeholders in sales, marketing, and IT to understand business requirements, ensuring they are translated into robust test plans.
- Act as a key point of contact for QA activities within the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives.
- Provide regular updates on QA progress, test results, and release readiness to senior management and stakeholders.
5. Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the quality of Salesforce and CPQ implementations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Ensure that all QA activities are conducted in a manner that is consistent with company standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team, leveraging data and metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Salesforce, CPQ, and QA methodologies.
- Lead the adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes that can improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Requirements and Knowledge:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a QA management role.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM and CPQ testing and release management.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing processes and associated tools.
Skills:
- Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks specific to Salesforce (e.g., Selenium, Provar, TestComplete).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing QA teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Good to Have:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist).
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
