About the Job

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst specializing in automation testing with a strong background in network product/protocol testing, Python-based test automation, and API testing. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with 5+ years in QA and Automation, focusing on Selenium, Robot Framework, and API testing in a networked and virtualized environment.

Education Requirements:

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Automation (Selenium, Robot Framework, Python) and API Testing
• Advanced understanding of networking, including switching and routing
• In-depth knowledge of application-level protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, SSL) and layer 2/3 protocols (LACP, STP, BGP/OSPF)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform both test automation and manual testing for network products and networking protocols.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and automation infrastructure using Python.
• Execute comprehensive testing processes, including test case design, review, manual execution, and automation.
• Track, log, and manage defects through their lifecycle, ensuring thorough tracking and resolution.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem-resolution support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with the team effectively while also working independently when required.
• Utilize knowledge in virtualization and cloud environments (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP) to set up and manage test environments.
• Use traffic generation and packet analysis tools such as Avalanche, IXIA, and Wireshark.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Robot Automation Framework
• Proficiency in system testing and load testing
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Relevant certifications in automation or networking (preferred)
