Overview
- Prior experience with Web Hook, Pub/Sub style APIs.
- API logging, monitoring and relisilancy design experience.
- Knowledge of API authentication and authorization best practices.
- Experience working with classical relational databases (MS SQL Server).
- Proven ability to independently execute projects from concept to implementation to launch
and to maintain a live product.
- Prior media agency industry experience and/or exposure to media budgeting, planning or flowcharting.
Responsibilities
- Researching 1st and 3rd party platform integration capabilities and providing technical
designs around system integration strategy.
- Drafting technical requirements and recommendations around expansion of 1st and 3rd
party platform integration capabilities.
- Architecting RESTFUL and event based streaming API patterns.
- Designing, building, testing, and deploying system integration capabilities and APIs
- Structural and query analyses of web application databases (SQL) for API integration
purposes.
- Perform code reviews and provide leadership and guidance to junior developers.
- Ability to learn and teach new technologies.
Qualifications
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.
- Curiosity in learning the business requirements that are driving engineering requirements.
- Interest in new technologies and eagerness to bring those technologies and out of the box
- ideas to the team.
- 6+ years of C# / .NET programming experience.
- 5+ years RESTFUL API development experience. Preferably ASP.NET Web API 2 or modern.
- 3+ years SQL and database development experience, preferably MS SQL Server.
- Preferred familiarity with IIS web API hosting and configuration.
- Prior Agile/SCRUM, Jira, TFS/GIT experience.
