Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications using Django framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of web applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience developing web applications using Django framework.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Strong understanding of Django ORM and database concepts.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribution to open-source projects or participation in developer communities.
