- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, scripts, and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to define requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality software products
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices
- Develop server-side logic and APIs to support web applications and services
- Implement and integrate data storage solutions, such as databases or file systems, to manage application data
- Perform software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and fix defects or issues
- Optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization, caching techniques, and system architecture improvements
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user interfaces with backend functionality
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and libraries in the Python ecosystem and propose their adoption where appropriate
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality and maintainability
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, task estimation, and daily stand-ups
