Job Description
Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and scripts.
- Manage and automate Linux-based data workflows, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Use Python IDEs (e.g., PyCharm, VS Code) to write, debug, and optimize code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Utilize Git for version control and maintain code repositories.
- Create and manage cron jobs for scheduling and automating recurring tasks.
- Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to technical documentation and provide guidance on Python coding standards and best practices.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and data management practices.
- Proficiency in Python IDEs (e.g., PyCharm, VS Code) for development and debugging.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Familiarity with Linux shell scripting and command-line tools.
- Experience with cron jobs for task automation.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Pandas).
- Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data management tools.
