Job Description -

Conduct research and development activities to improve product quality, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.
Design and execute experiments to evaluate new materials, processes, and technologies for incorporation into products.
Analyze data and interpret results to make recommendations for product enhancements or modifications.
Develop and maintain quality control procedures and protocols to ensure consistent product quality.
Perform regular quality checks and inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Investigate customer complaints and quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to address quality-related concerns and drive continuous improvement.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to product quality and safety.
Train and educate team members on quality control procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in research and development, quality control, or related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks and activities.
Knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, cGMP).
Experience with statistical analysis and quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, DOE, SPC) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
