About the role:
We are looking for an individual to lead our Purchase Operations. The roles and responsibilities will include:
- Operations- Leading the buying operations of the company
- Vendor Management- Coordinate with vendors wrt POs and ensuring streamline in Supply Chain
- Minimising Cost- Reducing CoP for all articles while ensuring intact delivery and quality
- Negotiation- Negotiating with suppliers wrt delivery, quality and cost
- Training- Educating and training your team to work on improving the department's operations
- OpEx- Applying Lean Management tools to improve the department
- Automisation- Working on improving the purchase module in ERP and increasing automisation in the operations
About you:
- Leadership ability- Be able to lead the department and train team accordingly
- Lean Management tools- Aware of tools and processes required to improve the team's operations through Lean/ Six Sigma
- Communication- Excellent communication skills are required to deal with vendors
- Pro Activeness- Ability to lead the vendor development with pro activeness and enthusiasm
- Manufacturing- Previous experience in Manufacturing is required
- Experience- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of Purchase
