Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Purchasing Manager at SAHAJANAND VALVES PVT LTD in Surat. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing the company's procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves collaborating with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
• Experience in vendor management and negotiation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in SAP B1 module, microsoft office
• Experience in the manufacturing valves, pumps or allied industries.
• Diploma or bechlor degree in mechanical/instrumentation/production
