Job Title: Purchasing and Planning Executive

The Purchasing and Planning Executive is responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing inventory planning to ensure that the organization meets its operational requirements efficiently. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, managing purchase orders, and coordinating inventory levels to support business operations and objectives.
Purchasing Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
Inventory Planning:- Develop and implement inventory plans and strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
Analyze sales forecasts, production schedules, and historical data to predict inventory needs.- Coordinate with internal departments to align inventory levels with production and sales requirements.
Manage inventory control processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze procurement and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and recommend improvements in procurement and inventory management practices.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing and inventory activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to enhance procurement and planning processes.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and inventory management.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to align procurement and planning activities with organizational goals.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

- Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
