Purchasing Agent (Engine Material)

Role:

The Purchasing agent will be responsible for negotiating major supplier contracts to achieve cost reductions, improved payment terms, inventory reduction and terms and conditions executing and leading the day-to-day procurement activities.Â

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of the purchasing function.
• Analyze market and delivery conditions to advise business managers of procurement strategies.
• Perform product and process analysis for cost reduction, departmental quality improvement, and improved efficiency.Â
• Enhance procurement process and system robustness by proposing, implementing and standardizing best practices.Â
• Develop purchasing strategies, partner with suppliers, and negotiate discounts.Â

Qualifications

Engineering Degree in aviation can be an advantage.
