Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Purchase Officer to join our team at Satvam Nutrifoods Limited. The position is full-time and based in Himatnagar. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, negotiation, and vendor management, contributing to the efficiency of our supply chain processes.
Qualifications And Skills
- Proven experience in procurement with a strong understanding of purchasing processes
- Exceptional negotiation skills (Mandatory skill)
- Proficient in vendor management to maintain effective supplier relationships (Mandatory skill)
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Experience in inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate suppliers, products, and services
- Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external coordination
- High attention to detail for meticulous handling of procurement activities
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to meet company requirements
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain consistent supply chain efficiency
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely reorder
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements where necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and contracts
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage supply needs
