Roles and Responsibilities :-
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications
- Source potential vendors and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors
- Track and report key functional metrics to management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure items are in stock as needed
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and resolving any issues
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and new procurement techniques
Desired Candidates Profile:-
- Required 2-5 Years of Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and purchase management software
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
