Inviting applicants for role of Purchase Manager, who will be responsible for handling the procurement process, sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships that ensures a seamless supply chain and optimise costs.

  • Key Responsibilities :

Source and negotiate with potential suppliers, assess their capabilities and evaluate their suitability based on predefined criteria.

Gathers offers from various suppliers, does bid comparisons and further negotiates with the suppliers in order to get best possible rates.

Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns at site, to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.

Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.

Ensures all commitments, made by Store in-charge are accurately presented and have proper approval signing authorities, as per mandates.

Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics and cost savings to higher management.

Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices and on-time deliveries, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Develop and implement SOP's and ensure that it is percolated to all assigned personnel.

  • Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.

9+ years of experience as a purchasing manager within the construction industry.
