Job Overview
As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services needed for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Eligibility-

- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Proficiency in using procurement software or systems
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement regulations and practices is preferred
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, equipment, and services
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, quality control, and finance, to ensure seamless procurement processes
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
- Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover
- Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
