Candidate should be skilled in doing follow ups.
Negotiation prices, payment terms to achieve cost savings.
Develop strong relationship with existing vendors.
Candidate should have strong negotiation or renegotiation skills.
Monitor inventory levels, lead times and plan the Raw Material.
Should have knowledge of raw material like pipe, angle, channel, etc.
Work closely with quality control and R&D Department to ensure the quality control and reliability of purchased material.
Demonstrates effective communication and problem solving skills and continually improves purchasing methods/process. Candidate should have knowledge of purchasing electronic items like, semiconductors.
Resolve quality issues with suppliers & implement corrective actions to prevent future.
