Position Purchase Manager
Location Lucknow
Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies for the cattle feed division.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors.
Identify potential suppliers and vendors, evaluate their capabilities, and make recommendations to management.
Ensure that all purchases are made within budget and on time.
Manage a team of procurement professionals, setting goals and objectives, and monitoring their performance.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Ensure that all purchases are made in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Skills and Qualifications
10-15 years of experience in purchase management.
Thorough understanding of the cattle feed industry.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage a team of procurement professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other purchasing software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent time-management skills.
