Job Overview: The Purchase Junior will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of materials and supplies required for our operations. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement process by placing orders, tracking shipments, and managing inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier information in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) Mechanical
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and procurement processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
