Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers of equipment and materials related to water treatment, including filtration systems, pumps, chemicals, and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical specifications and operational requirements for various water treatment projects.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, pricing, and emerging technologies in the water treatment sector.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from issuing purchase orders to tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to product quality, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier databases, purchase orders, and inventory levels.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities for procurement needs in upcoming projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations related to procurement practices.
