The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, parts, and services required for the production and operation of automotive products. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality standards to support the company's production goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular audits.
Source and procure automotive components, raw materials, and services in line with production requirements.
- Issue purchase orders and manage the order cycle from requisition to delivery.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to avoid production delays.- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Develop and implement strategies for effective contract management.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstock situations.- ack and manage procurement costs to stay within budget.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the automobile industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
* Knowledge of automotive components and materials is a plus.
