The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's operational requirements. This includes supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and maintaining effective relationships with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery times.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure continuous supply.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, and invoices.
Conduct market research to stay informed about current market trends and pricing.
Perform cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs and improve profitability.
Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid stock outs or overstock situations.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, suppliers, and inventory.
Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Work closely with other departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.
Bachelor's degree , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of market research and cost analysis techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
