• About the role

We are hiring a purchase executive with experience in the pharmaceutical, nutrition, and cosmetic industry.

• Responsibilities and Duties

Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies

Purchasing of source and buy materials, goods, and services on behalf of the employer to be resold or used in daily operations.

Purchasing officers maintain stock levels, and may also conduct research, negotiate with vendors, and interview prospective suppliers.

Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.

Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts.

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness

Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms

Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation

Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier.

Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking

Assess, manage, and mitigate risks

Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers

Determine the quantity and timing of deliveries

Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand

• Required Skills

Proven working experience as a purchasing executive

Experience in Pharma, Nutrition or Cosmetic Industry

Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management

A knack for negotiation and networking

Working experience in vendor management

Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures

• Required Experience and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3 years as purchase executive

BSc or MSc And B.Pharma/M.Pharma

Experience in purchase with manufacturer is preferred

Should know English, Kannada, and Hindi
