Key Responsibilities:- Vendor Sourcing & Management:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Raise and manage purchase orders.- Track the status of orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, and reliability.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels.- Ensure that inventory aligns with organizational requirements without overstocking.
Implement reordering processes to prevent stockouts.
- Cost Management & Budgeting:
Work within the allocated procurement budget.- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Monitor market trends to forecast future procurement needs and pricing changes.
Ensure that all purchased products meet the necessary quality standards.- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any quality-related issues.
Documentation & Compliance:- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding procurement.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and payments.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, engineering) to understand their material requirements.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and market conditions.
Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of supply chain procedures and logistics.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE OF MINIMUM 3-5 YEARS IN CONSTRUCTION /REAL ESTATE SECTOR IN A SIMILAR PROCUREMENT ROLE
