BPO/PUNJABI TEACHER/INTERPRETOR EXPERIENCE WILL BE PLUS POINT
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely interpretation services between Punjabi and [other language, e.g., English] for clients in various settings (e.g., medical, legal, educational, business).
- Interpret spoken language during meetings, conferences, phone calls, and other interactions, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpretation assignments.
- Assist with written translations of documents, as needed.
- Prepare for interpretation assignments by researching relevant terminology and subject matter.
- Maintain accurate records of all interpretation assignments and submit reports as required.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure a seamless interpretation process.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and any relevant changes in the languages you interpret.
Work Schedule:
- Five working days per week.
- Rotational shifts that include night shifts.
- Two rotational days off per week.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Punjabi and [other language, e.g., English], both written and spoken.
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and ability to convey meaning accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Certification in interpretation (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using interpretation equipment and software (if applicable).
