Job Purpose
The role of PR Resource will work with all necessary stakeholders to create and execute communication campaigns that will tell the brand's CSR and Sustainability story. It also involves activities like content writing, scripting, some amount of video shooting and reporting, curating stories and conducting that will be told to audiences (both Internal and External) on a regular basis. The role also involves writing reports and assisting on presentations to the Board and various relevant committees from time to time.
The purpose of the role is to effectively and efficiently manage the communications mandate of the Eicher Group Foundation and Royal Enfield's Sustainability initiatives, and bring in a level of competence, innovation and execution into communications for EGF activities, special projects, events and green business initiatives. The incumbent will build relevant systems and processes to ensure smooth functioning within all internal and external stakeholders resulting in higher levels of aspiration for the brand and positive word of mouth.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for innovative thinking and planning on how communications can effectively contribute to building positive influence and reputation for Eicher Group Foundation, with both internal as well as external audiences
- Assist in the annual planning process, contribute towards broad direction for communication innovation
- Own the creation and execution of quarterly, and monthly plans for communications
- Curate and report relevant stories from the Royal Enfield and EGF universe for use in regular communications and for external media outreach
- Ensure the timely production of the monthly (may become fortnightly later) communications bulletin
- Coordinate with the relevant teams within the organization to understand the success of the communications bulletin
- Incumbent will lead and support on all elements of communications, including managing end-to-end PR and comms, media interactions for company spokespersons, responding to media queries, for EGF and Green Business initiatives of Royal Enfield
- Annual reporting

- Manage and deal with Stakeholders including Senior management, Investor relations, finance teams, legal and secretarial teams
- Crisis Management, Coordination, Agency management
- Lead the setup of systems and processes including weekly meetings, monthly/ quarterly reviews, monthly and quarterly planning etc.
- Strive towards service excellence by leading, supporting and highlighting excellent Sustainability initiatives
- Assist with the planning of a high impact project launch ensuring Ontime-In full execution of PR strategy and launch program
- Measure success by reviewing key metrics such as Media universe engaged, Key message delivery, Number of media and influencer reports for launch, Net Sentiment / Sentiment of reportage and Opportunity to see, PR support to marketing activations, number of exposures and number of positive reports / reviews
- Support the development of a sustainable agency ecosystem by realigning central and regional PR agencies, RFP and on-boarding of new agency, setting up SOPs for knowledge sharing and integrated working
- Lead impactful PR for RE Cause Rides
- Deliver impactful and measurable PR program that meets objectives of EGF
Education
- Degree in Communications / Mass Communications / PR / Marketing Communications
Experience
- 5 - 10 years of work experience
- Strong experience of having worked with journalists and editors
- Experience in implementing PR and influencer management strategy for brands which are built on word- of-mouth and influencer advocacy
- Majority of work experience in Communications in the Development / Social Sector
- Having worked with journalists and editors in the CSR and Sustainability Space
- Experience of having worked with and NGO or Foundation or Trust or the CSR department of other corporate entities
