Job Overview

Podar Education Network is seeking a Junior Psychologist to join our team at our Nellore location. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission by supporting students mental health and emotional well-being through personalized care and targeted interventions.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Clinical assessment abilities to evaluate psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders effectively (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise in counseling techniques to facilitate discussions and provide safe and supportive environments (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in psychological testing to develop treatment plans and assess student needs (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong therapeutic intervention skills for developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Research methods knowledge to analyze data and create comprehensive reports on case findings.
  • Empathy to connect sincerely with students, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strict adherence to ethical standards in all professional interactions and interventions.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students to address mental health issues.
  • Perform psychological assessments and interpret diagnostic tests to identify student needs.
  • Develop and evaluate individualized treatment plans for students, adjusting them as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide holistic support for student development.
  • Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and monitor student progress over time.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed to address immediate psychological health concerns.
  • Participate in workshops and training sessions to remain current with best practices in psychology.
  • Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are maintained across all interactions.
