As a Prototyping and Vehicle Testing Engineer at Batt:RE, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and validation of our Electric Two Wheelers. You will be responsible for building prototypes, conducting rigorous vehicle testing, and analyzing performance data. You will collaborate closely with the engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure our vehicles meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
1. Prototype Development:
Assist in the design and assembly of Electric Two Wheeler prototypes.
Fabricate and modify components as needed to support prototype development.
2. Vehicle Testing:
Plan and execute comprehensive testing procedures for Electric Two Wheelers, including performance, durability, and safety tests. Conduct on-road tests to evaluate vehicle systems and components.
3. Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to assess vehicle performance.
Identify issues and provide recommendations for improvements based on test results.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed test reports and documentation of findings and recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of all prototype builds and test activities.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to address issues and implement solutions. Communicate test results and findings to relevant stakeholders.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vehicle performance, reliability, and safety.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in EV technology and testing methodologies.
7. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Promote a culture of safety and adhere to all safety protocols during testing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in prototyping, vehicle testing, or related engineering roles.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
Proficiency in using testing equipment and data analysis tools.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience with Electric Two Wheeler or automotive prototyping and testing.
Familiarity with vehicle dynamics and performance testing methodologies.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electric vehicle testing
