MotionTech is a fast growing Swiss company specialised in the design and manufacturing of custom prosthetic liners. We offer a groundbreaking approach to prosthetic fitting by pushing a mass-personalisation approach of prosthetic liners, powered by our proprietary silicone 3D printing technology. Each of our product is designed and 3D printed based on the individual patient's limb scan to provide a custom fit for optimal comfort.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Prosthetic 3D Designer at MotionTech. The Prosthetic 3D Designer will be responsible for realising the 3D modelling of our prosthetic liners. Starting from the 3D scan of a residual limb, and a set of instructions and data points, you design the ideal liner for its intended user.

Focused on understanding how to optimally design liners to facilitate the fitting of complex prosthetic cases, you develop both an advanced prosthetic expertise and a high level of fluency with 3D digital modelling.

Qualifications

• Exposure to CAD/CAM software (e.g. Blender, Meshmixer, MeshLab, Fusion 360, etc.).
• Field experience of providing prosthetic care
• Fluent English is a must.
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to develop / deepen technical knowledge in prosthetic science.
