Job Title: Proposal Engineer
Responsibilities:
Understand customer technical specifications and requirements to develop a comprehensive
proposal
Engage with the sales team, customers, and other stakeholders to define the project scope,
schedule, and budget
Develop a clear and concise understanding of the customer's business needs and objectives
Write proposals in response to customer RFPs/RFIs that are compliant with all requirements,
including page limits and formatting guidelines
Prepare Bill of Material of PLC Panels as per the requirement of the project
Understanding of P&ID Drawing to put together the IO list.
Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, marketing, and
sales, to gather input and feedback on proposals
Incorporate feedback from various stakeholders into final drafts of proposals
Manage the proposal development process from start to finish, including coordinating reviews,
revisions, and approvals
Ensure all deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and capabilities
Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure proposals are competitive
Conduct post-mortem analyses of won and lost bids to identify areas of improvement
Maintain accurate records of all proposals submitted, both won and lost.
Skills and Abilities Required:
2+ years of experience making proposals
Sound knowledge of automation products, services, solutions and their applications.
Very good market and customer understanding.
Fluency in English; very good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Self-driven, Systematic and result orientated.
Qualifications Required:
Education: BE, MSc (Electronics/Instrumentation).
Experience: 3 7 years in selling Automation Services / Solutions.
